“Pendulus” is an attempt at merging the compartmentalization foundation of Dieter Rams with the visual form of a pendulum's swing.
Design language
Dieter Rams' compartmentalization, given the motion of a pendulum's swing.
- Form
A compact, ordered box that anchors a sweeping arm and a large translucent disc.
- Gesture
The arm and disc freeze the arc of a swing in mid-motion, against the stillness of the box.
- Material
A white, ordered body and a slim metal arm carrying a translucent disc, shown on black so the silhouette carries it.
