A personal project for rendering practice, and for seeing the application of my face scrubber's ergonomics in different forms. With the tapered edge, it is meant to fit any hand shape.
Overview
- Brief
Rendering practice, and a test of the face scrubber's ergonomics in a different object.
- Design response
A clear, rounded body with a tapered edge meant to fit any hand shape.
Design language
A study in carrying one object's ergonomics into another: the scrubber's hold, reshaped as a jar.
- Form
A rounded, frosted body with a tapered edge, so any hand finds a grip.
- Material
Frosted, translucent glass that shows the contents softly, so the food becomes part of the object.
- Lid
A flat disc with printed rings, reading almost like a dial on top of the sphere.
- Presentation
Coffee beans orbiting the jar in the renders: the contents are part of the composition.
